The Texas Air Museum's 1942 L-2M served during WWII as a basic trainer in the Army Air Corps. It was restored in 2005 and returned to its delivery paint scheme as it arrived at Lubbock Army Airfield in 1942. This plane spent its entire time in the service training pilots in Lubbock.
