Grumman OV-1 Mohawk
The OV-1 was originally introduced in 1959 as an armed observation and light strike aircraft, and served through the Vietnam War to Operation Desert Storm. The OV-1 on display was demilitarized after its service in the Armed Forces, where it was then utilized by NASA Dyden in order to test early electronic airspeed and stall speed warning indactors. The work performed by this aircraft, the only OV-1 ever painted NASA colors, was critical in developing safety features common in modern passenger aircraft.
