Aircraft

We have a wide variety of aircraft in our collection, from a WWI biplane to modern fighter jets like the F/A-18-A Hornet. Many aircraft are owned by the museum, while others are on loan. The museum has a handful of airworthy WWII training aircraft that see regular flights. Museum members often take a plane up on Saturdays when the weather is good, and guests can get the opportunity to see these classic warbirds in flight. We also take our airworthy aircraft to nearby airshows. Flying exhibits from other local museums and member-owned warbirds can often be seen in our hangars and on our ramp as well. In addition to keeping aviation history airborne, we also have a number of static display aircraft. Each of our static displays has a vibrant past, with some playing pivotal roles in aviation history or having served heavily in the line of duty. More images and information on most of the aircraft in our collection are on this site. We hope that you come out some Saturday and see our aircraft, as there is no better way to experience history than to see, feel, and hear it. Our volunteers are always happy to give tours and share the military aviation history we have on display.
