North American T-2 Buckeye

The T-2 Buckeye is an aircraft any Navy jet pilot would know well. The Buckeye served as an intermediate trainer for the US Navy from 1959 to 2008, introducing pilots to jets, advanced maneuvers, and carrier landings. It is fondly remembered after so many years of service, and was an extremely capable trainer to have such a long career. The aircraft on display is on loan from the National Naval Aviation Museum.
